Abstract

The objective is to provide advice and promote professionalization around OJS, through a training program designed by our members, who share their experiences using OJS in which the use of the system solved problems related to the development, positioning, visibility or quality of journals. Additionally, the community invites all to develop projects, in areas of user experience, accessibility, communication with readers, social interactions, alternative metrics, visualization of XML and digital preservation, for which an invitation will be open to software developers, librarians, editors or other specialists who wish to contribute code, advice or time, always taking care of the basic principles of free software and open science.   Watch Presentation of the OJS AmeliCA Community on YouTube (XX:XX min).
